Sudan Film Factory, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of the Sudan in Berlin and the Arab Cultural House (The Diwan), invite you to an overview presentation on "Highlights on Features and Developments of Culture & Arts in the Sudan" presented by Ms. Hadeel Osman, Media & Communications Manager, Sudan Film Factory and Talal Afifi, Director of Sudan Film Factory and President of Sudan Film Festival.

Talal Afifi  is a Sudanese film curator, creative producer, founder and director of Sudan Film Factory, production house and Film culture platform that works since 2010 in empowering and building youth capacities in the field of documentation, film making and freedom of expression. He is the President of Sudan Independent film Festival since 2014, Art House Manager of Karmakol Intenational Festival and Member of the executive committee of the Sudanese Writers ‘Union. Previously working in cultural management in Egypt and Sudan, he also managed the production of a variety of documentaries and short films between 2010-2018. In 2018 Afifi was named as one of the Hundred important names in Arab Cinema by the Arab Cinema Center.

Hadeel Osman is a visual content producer and fashion stylist from Sudan who studied mass communication and marketing across Malaysia and the United States. She utilized her proficiency in creative content creation by working in public relations, branding, fashion styling, digital media, event management, nonprofits and filmmaking. She is also an independent content creator on Youtube and Instagram, covering a range of topics from fashion styling to travel and individual identity. For the past 2 years, Hadeel has been the multimedia manager for Sudan Independent Film Festival and this year she held her first workshop concerning “Fashion in Film”. She is also a part of the creative media team within Sudan Film Factory.
